Mitul Parekh, our NYSID Graduate Lighting Instructor from the MPS-L and MPS-S program, arranged a tour for our graduate students to the New York Times Building (designed by Renzo Piano).  Lutron Electronics organized this tour on our students’ behalf.  Glenn Hughes, the Director of Construction of the New York Times Building, served as the tour-guide and gave an insightful powerpoint presentation on lighting technologies incorporated into the building. 

On behalf of NYSID, we would like to thank Glenn for his time (2 hours!) in giving our NYSID students one of the most thorough tours of Daylighting in a building.  We would also like to thank Lutron Electronics for arranging this tour.
